Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam. Lovely Spam! Wonderful Spam!

It’s that time of year again. When my spam folder is full and crackin’ me up!

“Here at (insert blog title here) we are debating the same thing!” — comment left on “How is Jane Crazy? Oh, Let Me Count the Ways”

Yep. You and about every other Jane fan out there! Now this spam was worth keeping. If only to keep me giggling.

“It is very interesting for me to read that article. Thanks for it. I like such topics and anything connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon. By the way, pretty nice design your site has, but how about changing it every few months? I mean it!” — comment on the post “Son Drops the “S” Word! Queen Mother of Dirty Words (To a 6 yr. old, That Is)”

Seriously? You find my 6-year-old tattling on his 5-year-old brother interesting? Well, you’re welcome. I’m glad I can entertain. Good luck finding more potty mouth articles on “this matter.” You’d like to “read a bit more on that blog soon?” Which blog? Here? I try to keep my blog pretty clean, thank you very much. And for the record, I like my “pretty nice design” just the way it is. No changes necessary. But thanks for your input.

“You should use a weight loss calculator.” — comment on To Flu Shot or Not To Flu Shot. That Is The Question.

Hey! Be nice!

“Ghost ride that whip!” — comment on Spotting Signs of the Ever Elusive Teenager

Ok. Whaaaaaa?

“Thank you very much my friend, you are very kind in sharing this useful information with others…. the details were such a blessing, thanks.” — comment on Punks Unite! Well, For Today, Anyway.

Anytime. Anything I can do to help my fellow punks out. And “the details were such a blessing?” Seriously? Kid, you need to get out more.

  1. Apparently, I’ve blessed people with my details too…it’s wonderful to be so popular, isn’t it?

    I can’t write a long comment. I’m ghost-riding my whip 😉 Hilarious.

Love the spin you put on these…I often wonder if they ever work….and I sometimes wonder who the real person is writing and posting.

    Giggling.

  4. Your spam is more polite than my spam. My spam keeps trying to give me a bigger dick.

  5. Ha – too funny! Gotta love spammers! 😉

  6. I hardly dare say this for fear of inciting such things but I don’t get spam comments – only I think two ever, one advertising Viagra and the other from someone attempting to sell business cards for stay at home Moms?!?!?

    I love these actually! Hilarious.

And of course, I love Monty Python.

  7. I love it when you post these. I think I need to look at my spam filter with a more critical eye so I can find the humor like you do.

  8. I can never read my spam…it’s always in Chinese. And somehow I just knew you loved Monty Python too!

  9. Love the laugh today Jane. Those spammers crack me up.

  10. Lucky you .. your spam is entertaining .. mine is not. For Spam entertainment I have to watch the video you included or visit http://www.spam.com and play the spam game.
Thanks for sharing your Spam .. it was much more fun than catapulting a few cows and chickens in the game and definitely better than trying to eat Spam.

  11. You’ve just said what I’ve been thinking lately. A number of people have been really pleased with my comments – except they’re referring to a photo on a blog, not the blog or comments. And then there’s the ones that think I really need to look at some other sides of the issue, think it through, so to speak. Some are really very funny. And a number of them are having problems seeing the full page on their iPhone, iPad, Safari, and so on. Have I any suggestions? Yah – go elsewhere! Please!

  12. I think you should let the person debating how crazy you are through – just for the fun factor. It must be nice knowing that people are debating you 🙂

  13. My fave is the Russian span. (I can actually read some of it!)

    Scratch that.

My real fave is the shoe spam. I look, then delete.

    🙂

  14. Your post cracked me up!
I’m not a blogger, just a online store owner but have several friends who blog on a daily basis and know through them about the spam problem.
Believe it or not, even I, who only has a store, even I have to mess with spam. Not as bad as you guys who post every day and people can leave comments but you should see all the funny user names and weird tries of leaving a url in the registration form of my store. Not even to mention how creative spammers can get, using my email contact form. Sometimes it makes me laughing and other times I’m getting really pissed.
Those people don’t even realize, they actually hurt their “businesses” more than what their spam would help them.
Maybe we all should send a big Thank You note to the programmers and “distributors” of programs that can be used for automated spam posts.
Wondering how those people would like receiving a couple thousand worthless emails a day in their mail boxes.
