I’m now at the stage of being weary and wary of organised religion for all the trouble it has and still causes. I know what I believe. I feel in my heart that any Creator (call him/her what you will) would only wish for us to be good and kind to each other and treat each other as our worthy equals. Any (apparent) differences in our religions are purely man-made interpretations – often, sadly, very much the interpretations of the *male* of our species. Rose City Park United Methodists Church sounds more like my kind of place …if I ever felt the need for group worship.
This is Jane. This is Jane's blog. Jane hopes to amuse you, nudge you to do something productive, encourage you to take a second look, think out of the box, ponder the universe. Enjoy!

It’s hard not to smile at that sign, Jane…
Me too!
Word, girl.
We were JUST talking about this at dinner. We don’t believe and don’t go to church…but I would consider this church in a heartbeat!
Amen!
Amen!
Yes She does.
You always make me smile. Love this. 🙂
As the kids say: Word!
As the Baptists say: Preach!
Gotta love those Methodists!
(And Dawn’s and Nap’s comments!) 🙂
A resounding yes, my friend.
Great sign! I knew it would be a methodist church.
